Dr. Muthalakuzhy is a board certified nephrologist and internist who has been licensed in Florida since 2009.  He completed his undergraduate degree in pharmacy at St. John's University 1998.  He worked as a pharmacist while completing medical school from Ross University graduating in 2003.  Internal medicine training was completed at University of Medicine & Dentistry of NJ in 2006.  Nephrology fellowship was completed at State University of New York Syracuse 2008.  He has been board certified in internal medicine since 2006 and nephrology since 2009.  Between 2008 and 2016, Dr Muthalakuzhy worked in various practices in New York State, Texas and Florida.  In 2016 Dr Muthalakuzhy started practicing on his own and formed the Hypertension Kidney & Stone Center in Tampa.

Maureen Holcomb has been with the practice since 2018.  She has years of experience in the medical field including medical billing, medical assistant, nurse technician, and workers compensation.  Maureen functions as the backbone of the practice.  She is the patients liaison and coordinator for all their nephrology care.  Maureen is readily available and will work to ensure all the patients nephrology needs are met.  All of our patients know and love Maureen for her thoroughness, diligence and pleasant  disposition.  She dedicates herself to ensuring that the patients experience with our clinic is always second to none.

Ashley Principe is a highly trained and experienced critical care nurse who is currently in nurse practitioner school at the University of Tampa.  She brings to the team years of clinical acute care experience as an ICU nurse.  She dedicates herself to providing the most comprehensive care to our patients.  Ashley is the clinical liaison between Dr. George and our patients.  She coordinates clinical matters on every patient with the doctor.  Ashley is readily available for our patient's questions and clinical needs.
